Founderimage2Shital Daftari is an E-Commerce Business Owner who built her business from scratch with a very little investment and a big dream. When she started her business with an idea of renting high end Indian fashion, people doubted if the concept would work. However, she decided to follow her dreams and with her hard work, passion and grit built a very large E-commerce business that now sells on Amazon, Ebay, Walmart, Sears, and many sites across the globe. Her company, Saris and Things not only sells Indian apparel but also sells Gold and Diamond jewelry, designer swimwear, designer shoes, Gift Items and various other luxury products.

What Womens Empowerment Means to Shital: A lot of women dream big, but never take that first step to make their dreams a reality. For Shital, empowerment is all about helping women take that first step forward.

Shital has inspired many women to follow their dreams. This is what she has to say about success to other women. “The hardest part is the first step, everything else falls into place. When I started my business, I didn’t have a big plan. I just wanted to follow my dreams, and I always knew, that if I continue to do what I love, it will definitely lead to something great”.
