The WE Team has the top women of the Indian community in Chicago. The main criteria for selecting the Team members was the level of professional accomplishment & community service. The founders invited women who served in leadership roles in existing community organizations. Many of Team members are founders, presidents, vice-presidents and trustees of other organizations.
Most members of the WE Team are full-time professionals who go above & beyond their usual roles by engaging in meaningful community services. Being engaged in the community at various levels in different organizations brings a unique flavor to the WE Team. Almost every major community organization, cultural, religious and non-religious group is represented in the WE Team. This provides a very diverse experience level to WE.
